Jackson Farms sells high quality Bermuda hay. You can see it, smell it and touch it in every bale we sell. We are certain that our standards for excellent hay quality and consistency will meet or exceed any other horse hay on the market!

Why do we care so much about our hay? Because like you, we feed our horses a diet to help them reach the winner’s circle. We understand that hay is the foundation of the horse’s diet and can provide up to 90% of their nutritional needs.

Superior Hay Starts with the Soil

Farmers say that the quality of your crop begins with the quality of your soil. Our hay is grown in some of the most fertile soils in our area, producing nutrient-rich hay that results in healthier, higher quality animals.

Once the growing season arrives in early spring, fields are fertilized according to soil analysis and treated to prevent weed growth. When baling begins in later spring, our hay is cut, dried, and baled at the right state of maturity by our team.  We pride ourselves in staying up-to-date on the latest growing methods that work best in our area.

State-of-the-Art Equipment

Our hay is produced using top-rated equipment such as John Deere tractors, Kuhn cutters, John Deere and Massey Ferguson balers. Better equipment makes a better bale. Digital technology is utilized to increase yield from every acre of grass, increase bale quality, and lower production costs; which in turn, results in lower prices for our customers.

Hay is stacked correctly and cured in breathable barns where air circulates to aid in the natural curing process. 

Buying Hay by the Bale

We have square and round hay for sale based on availability. The majority of the hay we sale is Sumrall 007 hybrid bermuda. This is a high quality bermuda hay with a high TDN. 

Customers can purchase hay by the bale in person at our farm. If you live further away, but plan on attending horse shows in the area, we encourage you to come by the farm and load your vehicle for the trip home. No quantity is too small. We will help you load!

For customers outside of our area, several feed stores sell hay supplied by Jackson Farms. Contact Us to find a feed store that carries our hay. If your local feed store does not carry it, ask them to contact us to become a dealer.
